Davido made the sum of 97 million Naira and counting in less than 3 hours of calling on celebs to gift him 1 million Naira each for his birthday.

Davido Birthday Celebration 2021 makes cash look like nothing, I mean all that money in less than 3 hours, this is insane?
This is got to be one of the craziest days of my life.
Look, I don’t want to blow this out of proportion but one needs to have rich friends.
If I call my friends to send me 10K right now, all I will get is the story of my life but look at how these guys are reigning money on OBO.
Davido is one of the biggest stars in Africa and there is no way to say that silently.
When I wrote about the richest musicians in Africa, he was right there on that list.
Heck, when I even wrote about the best musicians on the continent of Africa, he was right there.

Davido has been giving us hit songs after hit songs. am talking from Aye to Blow My Mind to Risky to JOWO to The Best etc.
In the same vein, he has given lots of artists on the continent of Africa hit songs as well.
This year alone Davido gave 5 artists their number one songs on Apple Music Nigeria and that’s crazy.
No wonder when I wrote about the top 20 most influential celebs on Instagram in Africa, he also made that list.
And he just made 31 Million Naira in less than 3 hours which is kinda crazy, honestly.
So how did it happen?

Recall that Davido was seen in Morocco where he was dancing with two ladies and having a good time, right?

Later today, he flew to Dubai with the 30BG gang where he was supposedly cooling off for his birthday.
You know say Davido na cruise Master Sha? he took out his phone to call on celebs in Africa.
Here is what Davido said not in an exact quote: you know my slogan is “We Rise By Lifting Others”. I have lifted people so for my birthday I want everyone to send me 1 million Naira.
Once his video went live on his Insta story, it garnered lots of views and likes, reaching every nuke and cranny of the world.
While Davido was still having fun calling on every artist on the continent Zlatan Ibile who recently featured Davido on the song Money was the first to send his 1 million Naira.

Davido again took to his Instagram to post Zlatan Ibile 1 million Naira transfer and in less than 3 hours money was flying through the air into Davido’s account from left to right.
E-Money sent 1 million Naira, Davido’s sister sent 1 million, Dremo Drizzy sent 1 million Naira, Naira Marley, Don Jazzy, Patoranking, Adekunle Gold, Olamide, Femi Otedola, Ikorodu Boiz, Poco Lee, Bitsikas, Phyno, and the list goes on.
In less than 3 hours, no jokes intended, Davido has made more than 91 million Naira.
Perhaps the most beautiful moment of all was when Ikorodu Boiz sent 5,000 Naira.
I felt emotional and Davido even posted it, captioning it with love emoji and laughter (❤️❤️❤️ 😂😂😂).
