Fireboy Peru remix ft Ed Sheeran is going to be crazy but don’t take my word for it. All I hope is that you keep an eye out for this beauty because you will be blown away.
When I thought 2021 couldn’t get any better, Fireboy just dropped the bomb on us.
Fireboy dropped some beautiful, beautiful news for us.
I said beautiful because I wouldn’t have imagined if anyone had told me that Fireboy would be working with Ed Sheeran in 2021…
I would have said that there is no way in hell that’s ever going to happen but it is what it is.
We are going to have a Fireboy ft Ed Sheeran feature on one of his latest songs.
Click on the play button to watch the full video below or continue reading.
It is a song that is doing some pretty, pretty good numbers on Apple Music, Spotify, Boomplay, and heck even Audiomack.
So stay with me till the end of this LENN EP and you and I will cover all the details, you know.
Welcome to another episode of the latest entertainment news in Nigeria where we talk about everything entertainment from gossips, the latest music, and celebrities across Africa and the rest of the world.
Now let’s dive into the meat and juice of the details, shall we?
So in the early hours of today, when we thought 2021 couldn’t get any better Pulse NG broke the news of the Fireboy feature with Ed Sheeran.
Peru is one of those songs which started as a freestyle and it has turned out to be one of the biggest songs in Africa currently.
When Fireboy first came into the Nigerian music industry, he was on fire and that was like back in 2019 I guess.
Since then, he has been phenomenal and I can say that with this current generation of artists, Afrobeat is kinda in the safer hands to be fair.
I love to also give credit to the likes of Dbanj, 2Baba, Psquare who helped lay the groundwork for what this generation is enjoying.
but the Oga kpata kpata of them all is Fela who pioneered this movement of Afrobeat that’s becoming a global phenomenon.
So shout out to all these amazing people and having said that, I feel like when the generation of Wizkid, Davido, Olamide, Tiwa Savage, and Burnaboy took over…
We saw Afrobeat climbing to another stage where it is getting that recognition that it deserves.
This all started with Davido Fall that broke into the international music market which kind of lay the framework for every other song.
And I am talking about Burna Boy’s 2018 song Ye, and more recently Ckay Love Nwantiti and Wizkid Essence.
These are all huge big songs that have gone global and it’s beautiful to see Peru by Fireboy getting an Ed Sheeran feature.
This will help the song reach a wider audience of people who should be listening and enjoying the genre Afrobeat.
I feel like it’s been a long time coming in terms of how Africa has never gotten this platform to be able to showcase our talent.
And there are lots of beautiful talents in this country and Africa as a whole.
If you go to Ghana there is beautiful talent in Ghana, if you go to Tanzania, there is beautiful talent in Tanzania.
By the way, I enjoy Tanzania music so a huge shout out to my Tanzania friends.
Speaking about the likes of Diamond Platnumz, Harmonize, Rayvanny, Zuchu, and Alikiba.
These are all big names across Africa and now let’s piggyback a little and talk about Fireboy because he is the reason for making this post in the first place.
The first time I listened to Fireboy Jealous, I was like, wow this guy is going to be the next big star.
You could feel his passion, he is a lyrical genius and his pen game is just something else entirely.
It’s amazing seeing how everything is working out for me and if you have not listened to his songs then you are missing them.
So head over to Apple Music, Spotify and stream his songs because, in 2019, he had one of the best bodies of work.
Having said that, this current generation of Afrobeat has the likes of Joeboy, Rema, Guchi, Omah Lay, Buju, Ckay amongst others.
Fireboy is one of the biggest upcoming stars in Africa and he and the others got Afrobeat on lockdown.
This is the future of Afrobeat because there has never been a time where there is this steep competition among upcoming artists.
They are all so good and I am looking forward to what Fireboy Ed Sheeran Peru remix would be like.
I know it’s going to be big because on Twitter everyone is going crazy expecting this.
I never thought this was going to happen this year and my mouth is still wide open because it’s not every day you get a feature with Ed.
It’s over to you now!
