Reaction and Review Of This Song
I have to say I was thrilled but not really blown away by Skale’s decision to underuse OBO’s gift.
Davido shines best on hooks and chorus but Skales didn’t tap into such luxury.
If Skales had allowed David to take one part of the hook and chorus, that could have done justice on this track.
For me, he wasted the opportunity to make this song a hit track just by one small decision.
Although the track was a success I am angry he didn’t maximize Davido’s talent.
The lyrics were great, the production was of super quality as well.
This is quite a beauty you know and I have to give it a very good 4.8-star rating.
Conclusion
While Skales may have failed to underuse Davido’s talent, that didn’t make this track a bad song.
As a matter of fact, it is still on repeat on my phone as I type.
but I feel he could make this blown off the roof if he had one thing and that’s let Davido take the hook and chorus.
